Betty Stallings

Betty Stallings 91 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 19, 2026 at Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Marcy and Ella (Meadows) Lee on December 4, 1934 in Anniston, Missouri.

Betty loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookport, IL. The love she had for her family was fierce and strong. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren or her great-great-grandchildren. Betty played a huge role in making sure that her entire family knew the Lord and trusted Him to come into their lives. On the day she left this Earth she was met by her Lord and savior, her husband, her son and her daughters. Betty thoroughly enjoyed playing with her great great-grandchildren, sitting outside watching her hummingbirds, cooking for her family (and she was an amazing grill cook), traveling to see family far away and most importantly listening to the pastor on her phone on Sundays. Betty has left behind a legacy that will never fade away because it is deeply rooted in the hearts of her family.

Betty is survived by her granddaughters, Stacy Yates, Jennifer Stallings, Tiffany Hall (James), and Michelle Shoulta (Jason); her grandsons, Shawn Fairfield (Autumn), and Christopher Stallings (Taylor); her great-grandchildren, Jessica Wright (Aaron), Laken Sharp (Josh), JD Ward (Madison), Mytchell Hall (Emily), Corey Hall (Jolie), Cole Ford (Jayla), Chance Ford, Winter Fairfield, Tristen Fairfield, Ryker Fairfield, Calyssa Stallings, Camber Stallings, Ezra Stallings; her great great-grandchildren, Paisley Wright, Josie Sharp, Cooper Sharp, Ava Ward, Lane Ward, Wrenlee Ward, Saylor Hall, Olivia Hall, Blakley Hall, and Emmet Hall. She has also left behind a very special son-in-law, Gene Reynolds and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband that she so longed for, John Stallings; her children, Ronnie Stallings, Doris Stallings Norsworthy, Darlene Stallings Reynolds; and her siblings, Harold Lee, Paul Lee, and Martha Lee Rowland.
