Mrs. Betty Lou Obermark, age 78 of Brookport, IL passed away at 7:48 am on Monday, December 2, 2013 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis. Bro. Topper Council and Bro. Jimmy Franks will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Stephens Lutheran Church Cemetery.Betty was a homemaker and a small business manager. She was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah, KY where she was a member of Topper Council's Sunday school class.Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Obermark of Brookport, IL; two daughters, Pamela Obermark of Chattanooga, TN and Karen Gleue of Paducah, KY; two sons, Steven Obermark of Lone Oak, KY and Richard Obermark of Paducah, KY; six grandchildren, Lauren Obermark Shrader of Chattanooga, TN, Dustin Obermark of New Albany, IN, Skyler Gleue, Preston Gleue, Spencer Gleue, and Kay Maiden all of Paducah, KY; 8 nieces and nephews.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Virginia (Bell) Dreyer; one sister, Margaret D'Angelo; two brothers, Adolf Karl Dreyer and Adolf Allen "Sonny" Dreyer.Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.Pallbearers will be Steven Obermark, Richard Obermark, Skyler Gleue, Matthew Gleue, Eric Shrader, and Johnny Hays.
