Mrs. Betty Ann Cockrel, age 64, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday December 21, 2014 at her residence.A memorial service will be held at a later date.Mrs. Cockrel attended the Frist Church of God in Metropolis.Betty is survived by her daughter, Stacey Clark of Metropolis; her son, Jason Mizell of Ocean Side, CA; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 brother, Mack Clark of Magnolia, TX.She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edna Mae (Roberts) Clark; husband, Shelby Eugene Cockrel; and 1 infant sister.Expressions of Sympathy may be given to the Charity of the donor's choice.
