Mrs. Belinda Kay Schneider, age 64, of Metropolis, passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at her home.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Aikins Farmer Funeral Home. John Schneider will officiate. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Metropolis. Belinda was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She had worked as a Licensed Beautician and retired from the County Extension Office as a Community Worker.Belinda is survived by her husband, Robert V. Schneider of Metropolis; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Durbin and her husband Tracy of Almo, KY; 2 sons, John Schneider and wife Orleta of Cape Girardeau, MO and Mark Schneider and wife Emily of Brookport; 6 grandchildren, Elysa Elkins and husband Jamie, Shelby Durbin, Gracen and Avery Rayfield, Zavier Schneider and Brianna Norin; 2 great-grandchildren, Chloe and Will.
