Becky Summers, age 85 of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Joppa, IL, passed away at 3:42 am on Friday, September 4, 2026 at her residence.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12 noon on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Pastor Joey Dunning officiating.

Becky was a member of First Methodist Church and enjoyed working and shopping.

Becky is survived by her son, Sonny Summers and wife Christi; grandchildren, Landon Summers (Lindsey), Hayden Summers (Alyssa), and Preston Summers; a future great granddaughter; brother, Roy Allen Meyer (Velda); brother-in-law, Vernon Case; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verla and Charles Meyer; husband of 60 years, Ronnie Summers; and sister, Carol Case.
