Mrs. Barbara A. Henc, age 82, of New Columbia, IL, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, went to be with our Lord on Friday, March 16, 2018. Friends and others whose lives Barbara touched are invited to a visitation at 12 noon followed by a memorial service at 1pm on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis. Mrs. Henc was a 53-year member of the Eastern Star and a member of Heartland Worship Center. Barbara is survived by her three children, Gloria A. Huggins and husband David, Mark S. Henc, and Kirk A. Henc and wife Connie. Also left to cherish her memory are 5 grandchildren, Jonelle A. Schmalshof and husband Adam, Linda Florez and husband Jerry, Kathryn Henc, Jack Henc, Christopher Germain and wife Mandy; and 6 great grandchildren to which Barbara was a loving great grandmother to.
