Audrey M. Vick, 90, of Kankakee, IL, passed away October 13, 2016 at her home. She was born September 26, 1926 in Hamletsburg, IL, to James and Jenny (Mosely) Medley. Audrey married Charles V. Vick December 21, 1941 and he passed away February 9, 1986. Audrey worked as an editor for the Readers Digest in NJ and as a clerk for the State of IL in Manteno where she retired from. She was the last remaining Medley sibling from a family of 12. Audrey is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter in law, Charles Vick of Bradley, James Vick of Kankakee and Robert (Elizabeth) Vick of Essex, Maryland. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Michael Vick; and 11 siblings. Audrey chose to have her body donated to science for medical research. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice 525 East North St. Suite C, Bradley, IL 60915. Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
