Mrs. Ashley Stafford, age 37, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Ivan Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Ashley is survived by her husband, Jeremy Stafford of Metropolis; two daughters, Savannah Stafford and MaKayla Stafford of Metropolis; mother, Sandy Carnes of Metropolis; brother, Anthony Woods and wife Jessica of Paducah, KY; several aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends; two dogs, Brady and Cole; two cats, Carlos and Caleigh and turtle, Melvin. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Woods; dad, Denny Carnes; grandparents, Darkus Glenn Woods, Shirley Woods Thompson, Leland and Louise Lewis; two special friends, Carisa Treiglaff and Jordan Kennedy. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mike Hillebrand, Jeremy Stafford, Sandy Carnes, Lyndsay Taylor, Carly Eskridge, Anthony Woods, Lindsay Ferrell and Dennis Lewis.
