Mr. Andy Evans, age 79, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016, at his home with his loving family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Brookport Funeral Home in Brookport, IL, with Rev. David Siere officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.Mr. Evans was a member of the Golconda and Metropolis Masonic Lodges, a retired millwright, and a truck driver. Andy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joann Evans; ten children, Russ Eftink, Dave Eftink, Robyn Bybee, Sue Kluesner, Jim Eftink, Ron Eftink, Sharon Eftink, Nancy Stremme, Skip Evans, and Aleta Evans; 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Lorene (Thompson) Evans; one daughter, Mary Ann Hyde; one granddaughter, Andrea Perdew; one sister, Doris Copley; and one brother, Jackie Evans.
