Mrs. Alberta Rogers Wallace, age 86, of Metropolis, IL, died at 7:34 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wallace retired from Kroger after 42 years as an Assistant Manager and a member of Seven Mile Baptist Church. Alberta is survived by one daughter, Lou Ann Jaco of Metropolis; one son, John Rogers of Brookport; five grandchildren, Angel Gore and husband Kyle of Paducah, Travis Jaco of Metropolis, Melanie Borders of Paducah, David Jaco of Metropolis and Faith Jaco of Metropolis; six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Morris of Richland, GA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Lora (Bremer) Deasel; 1st husband, John Robert Rogers; 2nd husband, Bill Wallace; three sisters, Aline Deasel, Alvena Deasel, and Ruth Kidd; one brother, Herman Edward Deasel.
