Ms. Agnes Childress, age 67 of Metropolis, IL passed away at 10:35 am on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Baptist Health Paducah.Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis. Father Michael Christopher Mujule will officiate.Agnes was a personal assistant with the DOORS Program for many years and she was of the Catholic Faith.Agnes is survived by a daughter, Barbara Williams; 2 granddaughters, Brittani Williams and special friend Kevin Ferguson and Bryana Williams; a great granddaughter, Aiden Ferguson all of Metropolis, IL; 2 sisters and 1 brother.Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Kalman and Barbara (Galanbos) Horvath.Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.
