Joetta Stubblefield Henderson, age 88 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 9:04 am on Monday, January 8, 2018 at her residence.

Joetta was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a member of Hillerman Baptist Church.
Joetta is survived by her son, Ronnie Stubblefield of Metropolis, IL; daughter-in-law, Gail Stubblefield of Hillerman, IL; 7 grandchildren, Ronnie Dunlap and wife Cheryl of Hillerman, IL, Troy Dunlap and wife Vicki of Plainfield, IL, Charles Stubblefield and wife Brittany of Hillerman, IL, Randy Jo Stubblefield of Hillerman, IL, Vickie Wilson and husband Tracy of Medford, OR, Crystal Whitney and husband Tom of Dongola, IL, and Brandi Van Meter and husband Jamie of Joppa, IL; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patricia Childs and husband Bill of Jefferson City, TN and Nellie Kincaid of IN; 2 brothers, Joe Joiner and wife Sondra of Grand Chain, IL and Eddie Rhoades of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Joetta was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Mannin and Helen (Wright) Joyner; 1st husband of 55 years, James Norton Stubblefield; 2nd husband of 11 years, Clarence V. Henderson; daughter-in-law, Bettie Lee Stubblefield; son, James Michael Stubblefield; 2 brothers, Jack Joyner and Gilford Joyner.
