Harmon Meyer Obituary
Mr. Harmon Meyer, age 79, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Krypton House in Metropolis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church with Rev. Tom Emmerson and Rev. David Deem officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Harmon is survived by his sister, Mildred Steinkamp; sisters-in-law, Maraline Meyer and LaNell Meyer; two nephews, Lloyd Steinkamp and wife Rachel and Glen Meyer and wife Denise; three nieces, Janice Bradford and husband Larry, Brenda Souders and husband Greg, and Carolyn Sigman and husband John; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carrie (Brugger) Meyer; two brothers, Leonard and Lawrence Meyer; brother-in-law, Desso Steinkamp.
Visitation will be held from 11am until the funeral hour at 1pm at the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 25th.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Krypton House PO Box 709 Metropolis, IL 62960.
Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
