Edna Rolfe Obituary
Edna Evelyn Rolfe, age 94 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 5:47 am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Siere officiating.
Edna was a waitress for many years and a member of Eastland Baptist Church.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Aria Larrison and husband Bob of Metropolis, IL; son, Jack Rolfe and wife Sheryl of Metropolis, IL; 9 grandchildren, Don Moore of Elgin, IL, Kelly Weisenberger and husband Stewart of Metropolis, IL, Chuck Rolfe and wife Jessica of Vienna, IL, T.J. Moore and wife Jennifer of Huntley, IL, Rob Larrison and wife Jennifer of Metropolis, IL, Bo Rolfe of Big Bay, IL, Tom Rolfe of Metropolis, IL, Dustin Rolfe of Big Bay, IL, Morgan Holt and husband Matt of Metropolis, IL; 15 great grandchildren, Billy and Joey Moore, Kaleigh Weisenberger, Jackie and Samantha Rolfe, Olivia, Alex, Wyatt, and Aiden Larrison, Keely Holt, Makanda Rolfe, Gavin Rolfe, Reilly, Owen, and Piper Moore; daughter-in-law, Cathy Rolfe of Big Bay, IL; son-in-law, Bill Moore of Metropolis, IL; several nieces and nephews.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances (Motsinger) Tanner; husband, Charles Leonard Rolfe; daughter, Donna Lorraine Moore; son, Tommie C. Rolfe; sisters, Ivy Jackson, Edith Sullivan, Lois Thomas; brother, Clyde Tanner.
There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Pallbearers will be Don Moore, T.J. Moore, Rob Larrison, Alex Larrison, Matt Holt, Stewart Weisenberger.
