William Lloyd "Junior" Bradford, Jr., 70, of Massac County, passed on Monday, December 23rd, 2019 after a long and courageous fight against pancreatic cancer.
The thing Junior was best known for was being an avid outdoorsman, especially his love of hunting and fishing at Mermet Conservation Area. He loved and religiously followed the St. Louis Cardinals and was an exceptional athlete in high school. Junior was a mentor to many and a phenomenal storyteller.
Junior was undoubtedly a great son, husband, father, brother and friend whose impact and legacy will live on through the friends and family that love him.
Junior is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janis; one daughter, Lisa; one son, Craig and wife Bianca; two granddaughters, Shawnta and Simone; two great grandchildren, Isaiah “Ike” and his namesake Willamina; one sister, Crystal and husband Lucas; honorary sons, Kurt, Brandon, John, Kelly and Daniel; honorary grandsons, Jakob and Austin; and a host of friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Marie and Lloyd “Brownie” Bradford and his brother, Frank.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Miller-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
