Robert Patrick Early

Captain Robert “Pat” Early age 64 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away March 4, 2019 at his residence, with his family by his side.  He was born December 18, 1954 in Paducah, KY to Robert C. and Marie Early.

Graveside services will be Friday March 8, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery in Pope Co. Illinois with Chaplain Kempton Baldridge officiating.

He is survived by his wife Kelly of 7 years, one step daughter, Mycah Browning, 3 sons, Justin, Brandon, and Kyle Early, 3 Step sons, Jake Smejkal, Matthew and Christopher Browning.  6 grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Rudisill, and Jill Early; Three brothers, John, Mike and Sherman Early.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon (Hooks) Early.

He was a river boat Captain, and attended Seaman’s Church in Paducah, Ky.

Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
