Martin Busclas, age 88, of Metropolis, IL passed away August 7, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be at 11am Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. John’s Church on Waldo Church Road with Jeff Bremer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Martin worked for Allied Chemical where he retired from. Upon retirement, he was able to devote all his time to management of the family farm.
Martin is survived by two sons, Tom Busclas and wife Dorothy of Brookport and David Busclas of Metropolis; five grandchildren, Paul Busclas and wife Stacey of Metropolis, Elizabeth Busclas of Paducah, KY, Marty Busclas and wife Ashlee of Jacksonville, FL, Zachary LaVallier of Grand Rivers, KY, and Rhianna Collins of Metropolis; eight great grandchildren, Andrew Busclas, Christopher Busclas both of Metropolis, Ryan Sludder and William Sludder both of Paducah,KY, Kylee Lawson of Algona, WA, Michael Pevahouse of Louisville, KY, Hayven Collins and Maleigha Collins of Metropolis; one great-great grandchild, Abigail Ferry of Algona, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert B. and Ada Busclas; and two brothers, John and Barney Busclas.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6 to 8pm at the Miller-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis and Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 10am until the funeral at St. John's Church.
