Katherine "Kathy" (Massey) Anderson

Katherine “Kathy” Anderson, age 85, of Anna, IL, formerly of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Ryan Anderson and Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was retired from Laidlaw Corporation and a member of Eastland Life Church.

Kathy is survived by her children, Jim “Butch” Stone and wife Paula, Bobby Stone and wife Karen, Forrest Farmer and wife Lisa, Robin Anderson and husband Brian, Mindy Bailey and husband Jim, Margie Anderson, and Ray Anderson and wife Mandy; 67 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Williams and Linda Whaley; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Massey; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Massey and Ruth Beckley; husband, Robert “Bob” Anderson; great granddaughter, September Huckaba Farmer; great-great granddaughter, Kylie Phipps; one sister, Betty Wooten; one brother, Richard “Dick” Massey.

Visitation will be held at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home on Friday, May 31st from 12 noon until the funeral hour at 2 pm.
