Danny Story

Danny Story, age 69 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Joe Buchanan and Kelly Glass officiating.  Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Danny is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Jean Story of Metropolis, IL; one daughter, Tracy Story of Springfield, IL; and one granddaughter, Autumn Story of Metropolis, IL; one sister, Sue Bradley and husband Ronnie of Hillerman, IL; one brother, Charles Story of Joppa, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Aline Story; one son, Ryan Story; and one brother, James Story.

Danny retired from Honeywell in 2007 and enjoyed Deer Hunting and Fishing.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
