Sandra Belle Clauson, age 70 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 2:02 am on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. Tim Pearcy will officiate.
Sandra retired from Lourdes Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in New Liberty, IL.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Bernard Clauson of Metropolis, IL; sons, Brent Hodge of Metropolis, IL, Paul Clauson and Ryan Clauson both of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Paige Hodge of Metropolis, IL, Jack, Cody, Kevin, and Allison Clauson all of Chicago, IL, Garrett Beach of Metropolis, IL; great granddaughter, Ady Hodge of Metropolis, IL; sister, Myra Buchanan of Decatur, IL; brothers, J.T. Faughn of Brookport, IL, Michael Faughn and wife Patti of Metropolis, IL, Jeffery Faughn of St. Louis, MO; several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Flora Belle (Douglas) Faughn; sisters, Lauressa Clauson, Mary Hogan, Cheryl Gillette, Madelyn Higgins, Gloria Fenolia; brother, Paul Faughn
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.
