Milfred "Fred" Jones

Milfred "Fred" Jones, age 63 of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 5:15 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Continued Care Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah.
Fred was retired from Allied Chemical/Honeywell. After he retired he started Millstone Counseling Center where he worked as a marriage and family therapist. He was of the Baptist Faith, was a veteran of the United States Army, and had served as the Commander of the Army Reserve Unit in Paducah, KY.
Fred is survived by his wife, Diane Dunn Litchford Jones of Paducah, KY; daughter, Amy Chesnut and husband Phillip of Paducah, KY and her mother, Nancy Karber Jones of Paducah, KY; 2 grandchildren, Carson and Miles Chesnut; 3 sisters, Bobette Steele and husband Gary Adkins of Metropolis, IL, Kathleen Boyd and husband Mike of Rosebud, IL, and Joy Dry and husband Billy of Joppa, IL; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, his dog Buster.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Milfred Lee Jones Sr. and Frances Smith Jones; step father, Charles Patrick Jones Jr.; sister, Laura Fuchs; brother, Paul Wayne Jones.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Pastor Sue Engle will officiate.
