Jimmie Glenn Wilder

Mr. Jimmie Glenn Wilder, age 93, of Brookport, IL, passed away at 8:45 pm on Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. David Siere officiating.
Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery with military rites.

Jimmie was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookport where he had served as a Deacon and 30 years as a Sunday school teacher.

Mr. Wilder was a retired 20-year Navy Veteran, serving in the South Pacific during World War II. After retiring, he worked as a welding supplies salesman for Acety-Arc Welding Supplies Co. in Paducah.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of 71 years, Juanita Reynolds Wilder; two daughters, Jan Wilder and Jeri Ann Hall and husband Glenn all of Brookport; four grandchildren, Sage Kitchen and husband Brandon, Will Thomas, all of Lexington, KY, Mission Thomas, and Tyler Hall and wife Ali all of Brookport; three great grandchildren, Calla and Sienna Kitchen, and Nash Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Edith Wittmer Wilder.

Visitation will be held from 11am until the funeral service at 1pm on Friday, February 2nd at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.
