Glenn Ridge Obituary
Mr. Glenn Louis Ridge, age 48, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at his home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Glenn was a toy and antique collector and enjoyed the being outdoors, especially hunting and searching for arrow heads.
Glenn is survived by his mother, Pam Grant and husband Charles of Stafford, VA; two sons, Nick Holland and wife Meredith and Andrew Hillebrand all of Metropolis; one granddaughter, Braylynn Hillebrand; three siblings, Shireen Pintze and husband John of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Bryan Ridge and wife Diane of Flora, IL and Tommy Ridge of Metropolis; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Louis Ridge.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Metropolis Police Department 1020 Broadway Street Metropolis, IL 62960, the Metropolis Volunteer Fire Fund 213 West 7th Street Metropolis, IL 62960, or Zion United Church of Christ 1132 Country Club Road Metropolis, IL 62960.
