Carolyn G. Hollowell

Mrs. Carolyn G. Hollowell, age 80, of Brookport, IL, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Brookport Funeral Chapel with Rev. David LeNeave officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Sterling Cemetery.
Mrs. Hollowell was a devoted Christian who attended New Life Baptist Church. Carolyn retired from Petter Supply and was active in the senior citizens center of Paducah. She was also a member of Eastern Star and was an avid pool player who played in several leagues.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Debra Herzog and husband Edwin of Chowchilla, CA, Robin Hughes of Brookport, and Doug Kineman and wife Karen of Kevil, KY; five grandchildren, Sarah Bell and husband Steven of Turlock, CA, Melissa Herzog and fiancé Robert Stimpel of Santa Cruz, CA, Kurtis Kineman and fiancé Amanda Roberts of Sikeston, MO, Landon Hughes and Brody Hughes both of Brookport; four great grandchildren, Megan and Isreal Armenta of Turlock, CA, Christiana Herzog and Kalista Stimpel of Santa Cruz, CA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter J. and Ida Mae (Hiller) Longman; husband, G.W. Hollowell; four siblings.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the funeral hour at 2pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Brookport Funeral Chapel.
