Carol Sue Studley

Carol Sue Studley age 73 of Metropolis, IL. passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:15 p.m. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1 pm at the Reddick United Methodist Church in Reddick, IL with Linda Michel Pastor Matthew Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Grove Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of almost 19 years, Herbert "Lee" Studley; two daughters, Angela Farris and friend Jay and Mary Lummus and husband Dan; one stepson, Rod Studley and friend Sylvia; four grandchildren, Brandon Meyers and wife Holly, Carrie Sellers, Cheri Sellers and Dusty Lummus; three great grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Meyers and Jacoby Morrow; three brothers, Norman Henderson and wife Mary and Richard Henderson and wife Sherry of Shertz, TX and David Henderson and wife Annie of Metropolis, IL; four sisters, Arema Hinkle of Sumava Resorts, IN, Wanda Giasson of Sikeston, MO, Patricia Harvill and husband Richard of Metropolis, IL and Karen Henderson of Eddyville, KY; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Loretta (Lawbaugh) Henderson; 2 sons, Dallas E. Henson Jr. and Terry L. Henson; 3 sisters, Virginia Garrity, Lois Henderson and Nedra Henderson; and one grandson, Terry Sellers.

Mrs. Studley was of the Baptist faith, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all.

Friends may call at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. and Monday January 22, 2018 at the Reddick United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
